im flying home from germany to the US and was wondering if you are allowed to pack alcohol such as hard liquor in your checked baggage? i am of legal age in germany to purchase alcohol but not in the us. will this be a problem?

You are allowed two bottles per person. no problems and Customs will not even blink.

You didn't puchase the alcohol in US. And you won't drink it infront of the custom police. If they ask , you can just say it is a gift for my friend, I don't think it will be a problem...

you can bring alchohal back in ur checked luggage but not in ur carry on bags...for more info go to www.tsa.gov
