On my windows movie movie maker there is no task button... help !!?

On my windows movie maker there is no task button (to add in transitions and effects etc) so i cant make a single film (big BUMMER) so please help me how do i bring it up ?? fnx sophy

Open Movie Maker and click on the Help TAB. Then, read it through completely. You will learn how to do what you are trying to do.

click on view then select tasks.
this for movie maker version 6 (windows vista movie maker) I don't know if it work with earlier versions.

windows movie maker sucks, get a mac and it comes with iMovie, which is almost professional!
