i have a boyfriend, who has been a close friend since i was a freshman in high school. well he moved and we stayed in touch and when he moved back which wasnt to long ago we got together. we've been together for almost 3 months. he sometimes gets on my nerves and says stupid things. but thats not the problem. in a few weeks im moving 2 1/2 hours away from our hometown to start college. i'm a big partier and i like to make the best of everything and meet new people. Now he is going to move back to where he was living which is an hour and 45 mins in the other direction to get a better job, more money whatever. He is real concerned with what i am doing all the time which annoys me. well we always said we'd be friends when we break up and we both believe we will. So should i break this off before it is too late or should i give it a little while with us apart and see how it is going to play out? PLS HELP!!

well if you really like him and he really likes you... then yes maybe it is worth a try to see how things could turn out..who knows...right?...

On the other hand... consider what you just stated

youre a partier right? and you like to make the best of things and meet new people... and theres absolutely nothin wrong with that... but think for yourself... do you think your lifestyle will have a negative impact on your relationship with him?... if so then you should just do "your" thing and let him do his... i mean dont blame the guy for bein so annoyin about what you will be up too when you go to college... he's afraid you might break... so maybe thats another reason you should end it... because he feels very discouraged about it... thats all i can help you with....bye!

Break it off now if you want to save the friendship.
Leaving till then will only cause unnecessary stress, and most likely hurt feelings. Trying to salvage a friendship from that is rough, and most likely not going to work.
Be up front and honest... people like that.

Dear, Clean break now ! You are both young and should be enjoying your lives. Distance will not make his heart fonder, just angrier !
