Humm - all I have to do is smell it to gain weight.
Weights are definitely the right course of action.
You will gain the bulk you need without gaining a size if you stay with it.

More snacks - try fruits. Less heavy meat like ham.
Weight is usually gained by carbohydrates and heavy protein.

Hope that helps, best wishes

That was okay; you migh want a little more high-quality fats.
like olive or coconut oils.
Fats are wonderful fuel, aim for a little more protien if you are lifting. Try to eat some protien around the size of your fist.
It also helps: immediatley after you work out drink some juice. This will help your muscles begin repairing themselves soonner. It will also make your muscles hurt less the next day.
your muscles will grow faster and be more healthy. Don't do low-fat; it messes up your sugar balance and can damage your body and cause you to gain unhealthy weight

If you are trying to gain weight a healthy way, I suggest drinking whole percent milk. In one of my home ec. classes it said in the text book that whole milk is a healthy way to gain weight and get the calcium that you need. Hope that works!
Also, after weight lifting take a spoon of peanut butter and eat it, it is a good way to keep extra protien in your body after working out.
