Does anyone know of any prescription antidiarrheal drugs? I'm not on about Immodiom or Loperamide which contains imodium, just drugs that are only used on prescription.

Thanks!!!!

Pretty much all anti-diarrhoeal's are available OTC. Many doctors do not recommend their use at all in routine episodes as there is some evidence that they hold infected material in the bowel longer and that the actually prolongs the duration of the illness.

Lomital works well and also good for period pains as it is the same nerve.

The complementary remedy is boiled apples and it does work.

Just boil them and eat, hot or cold as many times as you can, it regulates the bwel whether constipated or fast and loose.

Also if you ahve a problem don't stop it as the poisons will still stay in you and nature has its way of getting rid of what it does not want
