If you are going to the beach you probably won't need to pack and outfit for each day because you will be in your swim suit the whole time.
I would suggest bringing the following:
2 pairs of shorts (regular)
1 pair of board shorts
beach wrap/sarong
at least 3 swim suits
6-7 tanktops or other tops that you would wear around the beach
jeans
1-2 nice outfits (depending on what you have planned)
underwear
pajamas
2 pairs flip flops
1 pair closed toed shoes (ya never know)
hat
sunglasses
Nalgene bottle or some other sort of water bottle
beach tote bag
a couple good books/magazines
Lots of sunscreen (you will be there long enough that you need actual sunscreen/sunblock. Don't buy the tanning stuff because it won't protect you enough and you will most likely burn! but don't worry you will still have a nice tan at the end of the week!)
Any beach toys you want (surfboard, skim board, boogie board, shovels, frisbee, football, etc)
and at least 2 towels per person. I would even suggest three...think about it, one for the beach, one to dry off with if they other is too sandy, and a third while the other dries or is washed...
That about covers it. Hope that helps!

Get pieces that do double duty...i.e. shorts that can be worn out at night and to the beach etc. Try not to over pack - it will be sunny (hopefully!) meaning less is more in the clothes department. Nothing is worse than lugging extra luggage back and forth arriving back at home with 10 pieces of unworn clothing. Typically - around beaches, evening dress attire is more laid back than the norm - so don't bring too many formal pieces. Have a blast and remember that sunscreen!

2 - 3 swimsuits
2 coverups (like sarongs) for the beach (when it gets darker and chillier or to keep the sun off of you)
1 pair of sweatpants and sweatshirt (just in case you are stranded at the airport, it gets super cold, have to do some serious work, etc)
3 - 4 pairs of shorts/skirts
4 - 5 pairs of tops
8 pairs of underwear
4 different bras
sun screen (spf 30 - 50 is best)
aloe vera lotion (in case of sunburn)
entertainment like a ball, a few books or magazines, etc
nailpolish
makeup
shampoo
VERY good conditioner (here's a tip - put on leave-in conditioner before you go into the water, it'll keep saltwater or pool water from hurting your hair as much)
toothbrush
toothpaste
feminine hygiene stuff (pads, tampons, whatever - just in case)
