rotisserie chicken, tomato mozzarella salad, seasoned orzo, wine, and something chocolatey for dessert in a candlelight setting... maybe some slow music playing softly in the background.

A. I would want it to be a candle light picnic where he surprises me and has me make NO decisions for the evening. Sometimes it is just nice to have someone handle everything for you, even if it is not what you necessarily would have picked. I digress...

I would want a bunch of different and unique finger type foods and desserts.

B. I would love a nice Italian candle light meal. Such as manicotti, homemade garlic bread, and a salad. I like Michael Buble's music so I would have that in the background.

How about he buy a nice wine and chill it in a small ice chest (one that's easy to carry around). Next, let's have some nice cheese, a fresh french bread, some big sweet fruits - (nectarines, seedless grapes, strawberries, etc. - have this cleaned and cut up in little covered bowls) If you can get some really good summer sausages, slice some up and have this in a little ziploc. You can also buy a couple of pieces of a very good chocolate candy to satisfy her sweet tooth. Now- find a beautiful, quiet, pond somewhere and bring a blanket and go on an old fashioned picnic. Having this kind of food to nibble on is all you need, and the wine will set a relaxed mood. This is a very romantic date to me. P.S. Bring her a small boquet of fresh flowers - she'll love this dinner. I would

The most wonderful dinner a man cooked for me was very simple. It was a perfectly grilled T-bone steak with baked potato and a fresh salad with homemade vinegrette dressing. We ate outside on the deck of a cabin in the middle of the woods with candlelight and an old jazz record playing in the background. Not another soul was around. Needless to say, I was very impressed.

I'ld prefer a picnic made of finger sandwiches and fruits of strawberries, grapes and cherries that could be fed back and forth to the one you love. The atmosphere would be under a beautiful full silvery moon with millions of stars as we watch the waves on the beach, of course after a storm or just as the sun sets is just as beautiful but I don't need music if I have waves or there are frogs near the lake when the ocean isn't available.

Actually I would like my hubby to grill me a steak w/ a simple pasta salad, with nothing but an apron on. Since it is summer I would like him to have it on the back porch in the evening time just as the sun is going down. For dessert something chocolate. Lots and Lots of candles!! Our favorite music in back ground

A picnic on the floor with some little quiches, fresh strawberries with a dish of whipped cream for dipping, barely steamed asparagus and champagne.
If it's summer, make it late at night with candles, winter requires a fire in the fireplace.

Let me know when it's ready, baby. I'll be right there.

Nice London Broil Medium Rare would be wonderful. A load baked potato and a simple veggie, easy salad and great bottle of wine. Oh well, my hubby doesn't cook for me, but if he did! I would have a great surprise in order after our meal for 2..

There really are too few gentlemen left in the world. Honestly though, If he were to cook dinner for me and make that kind of an effort, it would not be unappreciated, no matter what it was.
