Thunderstorms are the MOST peaceful time for me. I think I get stressed and agitated when all that nature energy builds up and thunderstorms are a release of that energy. It's like me releasing built up energy.
I like to sit on the porch and listen to the rain. There's also nothing like laying in bed on a rainy morning.

It's about to storm where I'm at. I often like to sit outside as a storm comes toward my house, and watch the dark clouds rolling in. I think it's beautiful. I have a sense of wonder and awe regarding storms, as well as a certain amount of nervousness, because I live in a tornado-prone area that frequently experiences severe conditions. Storms and severe weather are exciting, but also scary at times. In thunderstorms, I see the majesty of God.

I like to watch the storms. I grew up on a lake and I'd sit out on the patio and watch the lightning strikes come down into the water. They have never scared me, I've always been fascinated by them.
I am spiritual about nature and I am in awe of the power these storms create. They rage through and then are gone and once again peace returns, the birds come back out and sing again. When the birds stop singing and it goes quiet you know a storm is coming.

By the gods, I truly miss thunderstorms. In the four years that I've lived here in AK, we didn't have a SINGLE one until last week......it was beautiful. I wasn't allowed to go play in it. (my husband was raised in AK and has very little experience with thunderstorms and because I'm pregnant he didn't want to take a chance with the baby). They don't come remotely close to scaring me. They represent the beauty and awesome force of nature heself. as far as religion/spirituality, the closest thing i can tell you is we had a very "religious" experience during the storm.....apparently, my husband REALLY likes them ;)

I am less frightened of thunderstorms than I used to be. I used to think of demons and stuff or a psycho coming in and killing me.
I'm a Buddhist now and just think it is the earth doing it's thing....rather lovely. We're probably gonna get a big one here.....yeeeeee-haaaaaaaaaa! There not as good as when I lived in the Great Lakes region but it's fun to listen to the thunder roll through the mountains.

I like to stay inside during a thunderstorm.
My emotion would be awe.
They frighten me if I am outside. Otherwise, no.
In regard to spirituality/the way I view the world and my place in it, I realize how easily I could be killed by a powerful bolt. It's humbling.

*They show God's awesome power and faithfulness.
* I want to see a tornado before I die, not just a funnel cloud. But I don't want to see it come through my living room.
