There is no such thing as a true religion. God has never named a true religion. The religions have and they always pick themselves. Mankind must separate God from Religion. Picture the religions as 1500 different businesses, competing against themselvers.

The only intention of this "question" is to cause trouble and aggravate people. You know everyone is going to say their own religion.

I personally do not believe in a "true religion". I think whichever path people choose it their own true religion. Whatever works for a given individual is all that matters. Everyone has a different opinion, which is why there are so many different religions. There is only one way to acheive a true religion--if all humans thought the EXACT same way. I hate all this **** about the true religion. I wish people could just believe what they want to believe without converting everyone else and starting Holy Wars. I believe in the freedom of religion and expression. So people--have your religion...and CHILL.

Put 25 people of different religions in a room and ask that question and you will get 25 different answers. As for myself, Christianity is the "true" religion. In all fairness to other faiths, someone who wholeheartedly dedicates his or her self to a religion, has in their heart dedicated themselves to their "true" religion. One day, each of us will have an answer to your question.

Jesus said the true religion is those who feed and take care of orphans and widows.

I do not follow a religion, as it is merely practice, rites and tradition. I have a relationship with Jesus. This was the design from the beginning of creation of mankind.

But, in His statement, He was essentially saying that if you practice anything in His name, let it be an act of compassion and good will.

Jesus said, "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life. No man can come to the Father except by Me." There is no true religion, per se. There is, however, only one way to get to God. Jesus' life, death and resurrection made the way.
