I got a sweater shaver at WalMart for under $5.00. It requires two AA batteries and works great. I used it to remove beads from my mattress. You can find it by the irons/ironing boards at WalMart.

A sweater shaver. They come in different forms. i have one that's called a sweater stone. They also make ones that are electric. Look for them at stores like Linen n Things, Bed, bath & Beyond.

a sweater shaver. you can get it at kmart. it has a round metal guard to protect the good areas preventing the blades from harming .........the blades go right to the root of the stuff you want to get rid of. works good. good luck
