There is alot of SDa Catholic conspiracy theory stuff around and it all is in the libelous category of the fraudulent. Protocols of the Elders of Zion. Many groups simply exist apparently to hate us Catholics and sprend slander and libels.

When people use the word 'Christian' they have their own understanding of what that word means to them, which is often a meaning that is not understood or even accepted by others who have a meaning that differs in definition.
It is interesting to observe in this Yahoo forum a large number of people exchanging opposite views about religion using the word 'Christian' as if everyone understands the 'orthodox' or 'offical' definition. The kind of dialogue that takes place is not between informed minds but between minds who have each constructed their own meaning and definition for the word 'Christian', the result of which is that no communication takes place at all other than a tennis match of ideas plucked out of the sky.
Of course the same conundrum applies to many other words liberally used without much informed thought and all the while the process of exchanging knowledge becomes a matter of one person asserting his view on another, whether you are a believer or not.
The dissemination of knowledge is profoundly a vexing industry because a lot of the key references for giving knowledge canonical status, certainly in the sphere of existential philosophy, rely on definitions that undergo modulation and revision over time which make for an interesting debate but rather a dull inconclusive life.
To respond directly to the question about the booklet may I suggest you take the broad view that everyone who attempts to understand the hidden minutiae of secret and conspiratorial actions behind major events (dietrology) will never get enough verifiable evidence to prove their case but they often have an insight which is interesting but not necessarily emphatically the truth.
In the same way insights can be gleaned from Dan Browns attempt to use his inquiry into early church affairs as an 'authority' on unraveling the past, presenting an argument based on a highly prejudicial selection of paltry facts. Insights about Mr Brown's esoteric definitions for abstract words is more interesting than the supposedly insightful expose of the church?
The same could probably be said of Ms White.
Who or what defines the absolute meaning for words that mean something different in every tongue?
I know the answer, but you'd be somewhat miffed if I spent another 80,000 words telling you. I've already over stayed my welcome, good bye

Quite frankly the Seventh Day Adventists have always been openly hostile to the Catholic Church and have often called it an evil player in revelation, even going so far as to call the pope the Antichrist.
It's just what they do, dislike Catholics, it is part of their faith.

Someone or another has been making this claim since I was a kid and that was a little while ago (I'm only 34 so not THAT long ago). I don't practice anymore but I still find some of the charges leveled at the Church a little laughable. They just have to look at our current administration in Washington to know where that might come from.

That's Ellen G. White. I'm Catholic, and I've read several of Mrs. White's books. I try to avoid wasting my time criticizing other people's religions. I do not agree with Mrs. White or the SDA church, but not all SDA members are anti-Catholic. And even if some members of the SDA do believe in conspiracy theories, it still doesn't pay to cut down their entire denomination. Christians bickering among each other always looks bad, regardless of who started it. Two wrongs don't make a right.

The mission of the Church is to proclaim and establish the Kingdom of God begun by Jesus Christ among all peoples.
If the Kingdom of God is the "New World Order" then the Catholic Church may be guilty of the charge.
With love in Christ.

Ah, must be a Chick tract.
The claim regarding the New World Order is actually one of the least outrageous claims made by those booklets.
