Thanks. I am proud to be one. One day I walked into the attorney's office and he's Jewish (this I don't mind). And he starts looking me up and down with disdain and start saying how a lot of his friends were of Jewish Faith, and then turned into Catholics. I listed to his story although it wasn't the reason I was there for. I just replied, "that is all good., but that's why I am not here. Was there for a legal matter."

He even said he had to get up and go to the restroom after making me wait 35 minutes in the waiting room.
Was he just envious or did he straight out voice out his displeasure with a Catholic? Your thoughts?

Julia, what do you mean by humbleness? I reacted by listening to his story with kindness.

He never even looked me in the eye during our conversation always out of the window, or his desk.
I was taught always respect your elders and speak with confidence, and pay attention to look at them.

maybe he had a problem.

I wouldn't stress too much about it. But if he makes you feel uncomfortable then I would get a new lawyer.

Why do Catholics placed on a Crucifix with Christ on the pass? it truly is amazingly a worry-unfastened question non-Catholics ask. they can't look to comprehend why Catholics placed on chains with Christ crucified. Non-Catholics have faith that Christ is risen from the ineffective and does not belong on the pass. Christ rose from the ineffective, yet He did no longer % us to overlook what He did for us, and our depressing sins. basically using fact Jesus died upon the pass does the pass then substitute right into a sacred merchandise. in case you eliminate Christ from the pass you get 2 issues, first you get the emblem of historical Rome, an emblem of suffering and loss of existence-an emblem of punishment. the 2d ingredient you get is the small letter "t". Do you think of our Lord Jesus Christ suffered indescribable torments for us, to no longer be remembered on the pass? No! The pass with Christ upon it truly is a reminder of the affection He has for us. The crucifix is likewise a thank you to help save us humble and reminds us to no longer sin. The crucifix is a reminder for us that it replaced into our sins that nailed Him to the pass. a million Cor a million:23-24) Peter states: yet we sound off Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumbling block, and unto the Greeks foolishness; yet unto them that are pronounced as, the two Jews and Greeks, Christ the capability of God, and the understanding of God. (John 3:14) Jesus states: And as Moses lifted the serpent interior the desert, having pronounced that could desire to the Son of guy be lifted up, that whosoever believeth in him shouldn't perish, yet have eternal existence.

If he were gentile and objected to your wearing a Mogen David(Star of David) or Chai imagine the uproar! Get a new lawyer and write to the Bar with your complaint about your bigoted and arrogant lawyer.

Catholicism must be getting to him otherwise he wouldn’t have said those things (blessing in disguise). Sounds like you handled everything right. You were there for legal reasons, not religious; he’s the one that brought it up, and you were patient and polite. Thanks for being such a good example, a good witness for the Faith.

God bless and take care.

Do not hire an attorney who does not like you; he will do a bad job representing you.

If he made you wait over half an hour, then I suppose that he wasn't all that eager for new business (or your business) anyway.

Find another attorney.

Maybe he just needed to pee.

Always try to look for the beautiful in other people, they are created in the image and likeness of God no matter what their faith.

Well, he could have been frustrated. He may have needed to vent somethings and you happened to be a catholic that came at that time. He may have been frustrated about his friends converting to Catholicism.

He voiced an opinion.
You also chose to wear a symbol of your faith openly which exposes you to comments from others regardless of if you want to hear them or not.

Have no idea. You'd have to ask him directly.
