It's amazing what anonymity will do for people.

I make of point of being courteous to all. But the expressions of venom toward fundies ( who I dislike anyway, admittedly) by atheists came as a profound shock. I've always had many atheist friends and of course I am aware of their disparagement of all religion, but in particular fundamentalist Christianity. But on many of these postings the level of hostility sounds almost genocidal - like they want to burn every fundie alive if they could,or at the least that fundies should not have any rights. So I assume most people speak far more freely here than in their daily life about their true sentiments. This can be good or bad. It's certainly an eye-opener. I've always thought of atheists as freedom-loving people with open minds. Ridicule is one thing, though - rage, hatred - these are very different qualities. I'm very new here - but frankly I'm still stunned. I didn't know atheists would have the 700 Hundred Club banned from the airwaves; I've never even seen it,but these people have a right to the broadcast medium as we all do.

I would not even take any kind of guess because since you have no idea whats behind the screen there is no accurate way to answer that question.

I can only speak for myself and I am the same outside of the internet as I am inside.

Probably like 3/4 of the pigs that come on here (especially the ones who call me a troll for asking if Adam and Eve had belly buttons-You know who you are...and it's a good question!)

yes, i asked this question and got all rude responses. but i am really sick of the white supremasists and the anti- mexican questions...really so when i respond, most get really quiet, but if i did beat someones butt, they probably wouldn't get up for a while. don't talk about people's mama and think it'scute. i assure you it's not...not directed toward you...i once had a response that whores do not have laptops.hello? what is it?

Like Kathy Griffin, I was raised right - I will only be rude behind someone's back.

Judging by how we treat each other these days in this country I would say it would be a very high percentage.

What about those who would lie to your face as the truth would hurt your feelings? Honesty is good, whatever shape or form it is delivered.

i have bad problem with saying things to peoples faces.its more thrilling to do it to their faces..i love the look they get.its almost as enjoyable as just right out smacking them..in most cases smacking them hurts less.
