When a job does a background check what do they look for? Is High School Graduation part of that, or something else??

I own an office of Express Personnel. When we use the term background check, it refers to a computer search for a criminal record. We search a database that contains some federal, some state, and some local criminal records. It does not tell us anything about your education.

Depends on the level of background check. Generally speaking, if you list it on the application, they will check it.

criminal history is first.then:

civil judgments or suits
past addresses ( number and duration)
driving infractions
university level degrees
can go deeper depending on job.
