What does a union musician receive in pay for playing a four hour club gig?

JKB, You're right. If I am in the union I should know. As it is I am not. That's why I asked. Duh!!

It readlly depends on where you are- SCALE is different from state to state. I, myself, and not affiliated with a union because in my tourist area NO club will hire union musicans. The average here (MO) is anywhere between $100-200 per man for a 4 hour gig.

Call you local union! if you are a member, you should know!

In NYC, per person is about $180-225 for the first hour and $125 for every subsequent hour. There are also traveling fees, equipment moving fees.

You also have union mandated breaks!
