It would probably be best if you waited and secured another job before you give your final 2 weeks notice.
Sometimes jobs are hard to find and if you need the money, the transition between the 2 jobs would be better than a period of no money flow.
If you hate it so much now, go ahead and do some job searching.

It depends if you can afford to go jobless for awhile. People thought I was nuts to quit my retail job of over 10 years before finding another job. Why did I? I didn't want to get back on the merry-go-round that soon. I had built up a nice savings during that 10 years. I could go about 5 years without working if I wanted to blow my entire savings, which I don't. I have to admit though, it's true what they say about it's easier to get a job when you have a job. I have a feeling some of my interviewers didn't react well to my honest answer as to why I've been unemployed for several months. I tell them that frankly, I could afford to after working that long at my last job and also, I'm trying to make a career change, and that's made it a little more challenging than just going and getting another retail job. Get another job first unless you are comfortable with going at least a year jobless-- you never know.

Always find another job.
You have no guarantee on knowing how long it will find you another job, so if you quit, you're out of luck.
Always better to have something lined up.

it is almost always easier to get a job if you still have one. Not having a job will lead to more questions in an interview and definitely make the person wonder what the problem was.

Try to still find a way to like it, but then if you think you did everything to save it but still hate it, go ahead find a new one that will interest you. But I suggest you try to look for a new job while you are still in your present job.
Good luck :)

Depends, if you can find a job quick, it's better that you quit now. If you stay, get training while knowing you are going somewhere else, it would look bad.
If you think it's going to take a you a while to find a job, suck it up for a while.
