is there anything i need to know about putting cd players in newer cars??
I have put hundreds of them in older car, I just didnt know if there is anything I should know about

You should know that the 05 Focus includes none of the issues noted in the above answer. A standard wire harness and mounting kit will be all that's needed. It's actually one of the easiest vehicles to replace a head unit in.

You should know that there are some new cars that have the chimming of "doors open", safety belt, etc. that now they are connected to the stock unit making more difficult to install an aftermarket head unit, since you have to look for an interface adapter that cost about $75-$100.
