If you only have 2 dollars make her something because grandma's like love it when you make stuff for them
make her like a collage of pictures of you and her and put a little message on there =]

$2. wow. that's not a lot of cash - but you really don't need cash.

See, Grandma probably has all the stuff she will ever need and then some

Do you live close enough to visit often or is she far away?

Make her a card that says that you love her very much.

If you live far away - then promise to write her a letter or card once a month for a year. That is a present that any grandparent would love.

If you live close by - make up a coupon book of things you can do for her - good for cleaning out the garage, good for washing the windows, good for XXX

OR promise to visit her once a week for a year - just to spend time with her.

That's the kind of things grandmas like - not trinkets - but your time and your love.

Your grandma would rather you save your money, trust me! Why not make her a card and be sure to write inside how much she means to you and how she has a positive effect on your life. If you can't be with her tomorrow, give her a call to wish her a happy birthday. She will be thrilled that you cared enough to even know that it is her birthday.

If you must buy her something, why not a rose or a flower.

Make her a birthday card and in it write down some happy memories you have of sharing times with her. Tell her what you like about her. That will be better than anything you could buy.

Maybe you can buy her a card with it and have all your brothers and sisters and cousins sign it along with a few words each. maybe put a picture of all of you in it. Its nothing fancy but it would be from the heart, and it would probably mean more than just something picked off the store shelf and wrapped up.

If you have a small budget buy a card and write a nice message in it.... something about how she is the back bone for the family and how she is your support and that you love her.... then get a frame and put a picture of your family in it. Also, make a booklet with coupons saying one free house cleaning, two free grass mowing, one free dinner for two... etc. My grandmother is turning 80 soon and our family is having a big celebration.

You are so sweet.... ask your grandma if you can help her with anything around her house - take the trash out, mow the lawn, clean out her garage or write her a short letter - telling her what a wonderful grandmother she is, and how much you love her. This is better than any (material) gift. guaranteed.

Go to the dollar store and get her a nice knick-knack. Grandmas love cheap, cute stuff like that.

A birthday card.
OK, you could buy so many things but with $2 not much, so you can write to your grandmother that you look in various stores but in this card you can tell her how much you love her and everytime she sees this card in the future it'll be a little reminder of that love.
