i filled out a form and everything, i even called the air line twice since i got home. they said its still in newyork and im in israel. they will call me back in 48 hours, still not found. should i keep calling and preasuring them to find my suit case? this just hapopend today,a nd i need it by sunday!

They are pretty good about luggage these days with the computer scan on the bags etc. If you had your name on the exterior and interior of the bags, you will probably get your luggage back. It may take time so be patient. Call the airlines once a day to keep it in their minds but don't get rude with them it's counterproductive. Hey, If they can find my Bags in New Delhi after 4 plane changes they will probably find yours.

Which Airline? I would call them and find out what their policy is on paying for you to replace the stuff that was in it. I am a little confused, since you say that they say they know where it is (in New York) and then say not found. It may be that it is found, but not yet moved to Israel. I would give them the 48 hours that they said they need, and then call every day. 48 hours still gives you time to talk to them on Saturday, which is before Sunday. If that seems too long, then call them Friday. I don't think you should keep pressuring them to find the suitcase already if this just happened today. Most lost luggage is returned.
Did you have your name on the suitcase?
