The only thing you can really do is send them a dispute letter.

If it's a legal debt or creditor for you, chances are you can't. If it's an old debt, you can contact them with a settlement offer and arrange to have them remove it if you pay them X amount. If it's something that shouldn't be on there and was put on by mistake, then you can dispute it.

If it's truly an error and you can prove it, all you need to do is send your request in writing.

If it's a debt you owe, you've got a better chance of it snowing in the desert in July!

Do you mean a person you are associated with? If so, you can't get them removed if you have a financial link to them
