It is indeed customary to give a gift to the couple, being a groomsman is intended to be an honor and usually has some fringe benefits involved with it as well.

As for the gift - you might want to talk about this with the other groomsmen and the best man. Even though it is customary to give a gift, it is sometimes appropriate for all of the groomsmen to give one large join gift as opposed to each giving a smaller gift. Also, they might have some suggestions for gifts to give that are a bit more personal than the usual wedding gifts.

Typically a safe gift for a wedding would be anything that would be useful in the home (i.e linens, cutlery, cookware).

Yes, you should bring a gift. You probably know better than most what they could use. Have they been living together already, or do they have a new home to furnish? Do they have joint hobbies or other pursuits? If you're really at a loss, a nice crystal vase or some beautiful picture frames for their wedding photos are usually welcome. By the way, you'll probably be getting a gift yourself as part of the wedding party.

Technically, you are never obligated to give a present, but it is usually considered good manners to do so at a wedding. According to many etiquette books, those in the wedding don't need to bring another present since they usually have contributed financially to other pre-wedding events such as the shower or bachelor party and this can be considered your gift to them.

So the answer is no, you don't need to bring another gift, but it's always a nice gesture if you'd liek to give another small token.

Yes, it is customary to give a gift anyway. Give 'em money... $100 at the most, since you've already laid out a lot of cash....

Yes, you still give a wedding gift. You don't have to spend a lot - get something classic, like a crystal piece (serving tray, salad bowl, candy basket).

Yes, you should get them a gift. Buy them a gift card to a nice furniture store you know they like.
