And i'm not talking about the ones who want Cali. and New Mexico back.

I'm talking about the ones who are actually willing to learn english and work hard to become a citizen but the gov. is denying them papers because they are poor and cannot afford.

All I ever see poor illegals want is the right to work legally so they can maintain their family and friends back home.

I know that in my own perspective coming to this country and demanding to be here legally just because you made it across the border is acting like you are owed that right. If you consciously make the choice to come here illegally, then you should be aware of the fact that you are breaking the law.

I don't think anyone is denying them citizenship. Most people have no problem with immigrants so long as they do it the right way. The fact of the matter is while they may be what you call decent, they are still criminals because they have broken the law by entering the country without authorization. Being poor does not translate into a right to break the law. There are other ways to feed ones self than breaking into the neighboring country. If we take that attitude, how far are you willing to go with it? Would it then be ok to shoplift because you are poor? I'm sorry, I just can't agree with you on this.

There is a major difference between immigrants who want to be citizens, would like to file proper documents, learn the language and customs, and work hard for their pay, and the mass influx of illegals who come for the dole. Got a sick kid that needs major surgery and no insurance? Hop the border and get free everything. Can't add on another room for the new baby? Hop the border, apply for welfare, and send the money home. Food stamps? Buy the stuff and mail it. Found a good job? Call up all your cousins, nephews, grandparents and friends of the family and have them come over. One of you can pay rent on the place while the other 12 earn the money and send it home, and the one paying can get help with the utilities, rent, and maybe even buy a house with all the government programs. Send your kids to school free and they get fed, educated, and handed supplies. Got babies? Go on WIC. No car? Call Goodwill. Need clothes? Go to a church.
Would you work if you had these things offered to you? No, and they don't either. They've come to believe it's owed to them when they arrive here.
How much longer can they hook into all these free things before the government goes broke or cancels the programs for everyone? It's anybody's guess.

Illegals do act like they owe us something. Ever hear someone say that illegals do the jobs that Americans wont do? This is implying that since these people are so-called willing to do these jobs, we should allow them the rights and priveleges that are only given to those who were either born or legally migrated here.
Even those that have been here illegally for many years and have worked, learned English, etc, etc, act that way (even though I believe that they are the worst perpetrators because they have been here long enough to get their stuff in order). If you came here illegally, we dont owe you anything! Not a job, not US citizenship, not education, nothing!
The only thing that I will give illegals is a swift kick in the *** while they are goping back to Mexico, Canada, Africa, Korea, Australia, India, Iraq, Iran,China, and wherever else!

The illegals I've met have had more handed to them than I am permitted to earn in this crappy sanctuary city. They might be technically poor, but I've seen none of them going without necessities and few going without luxuries. They can come here without a pot to piss in and a week later have a good job, a home that they are buying, and a business (also food stamps and free medical care for all their kids and pregnant women). And not because they work hard but because it was already waiting for them because they are hispanic. They don't learn English because they don't have to, and most of them look at the citizens here like they are a disease that should have already been eradicated. Oh, and when we citizens do actually manage to get a job many of them will hound you until you quit or ***** about you until you get fired. So while I understand that they have needs they need to understand that they are the uninvited guests and stop trying to take it all. The citizens are fed up with this type of behavior. To the point that we would like to see massive raids here even if it temporarily screws up our economy

bs bs bs. im pro-illegal in this crazy war. but i defentily dont want california back or new mexico back in mexicos hands. or else all my hard work will be gone. im all up for stoping illegals and stuff. whatever, but something has to be done for the 12 million illegals here already. then we'll work on the stopping illegal immigration for sure.
people who say that are chicanos meaning they are born here so they have no say in this illegal immigration battle.

Have you never heard of an illegal immigrant talking about how the entire Southwest is "their's"? This, and the fact that some can get taxpayer assistance even though they've never been a taxpayer, and to top it off their marches for their "rights", makes it seem like we owe them something.

They marched our streets like they own them; fly their own national flags as if they are in their own lands; tell us they are only taking away jobs Americans don't want (hey, think Americans don't want those restaurant jobs held by the illegal alens, or that there are no true American landscaping companies, or cleaning and maintenance companies in lieu of those Hispanic setups that hire only Hispanic speaking illegal aliens?), take advantage of public schooling backed with US dollars only to become high-school dropouts, or play truant to march the streets, breed like cockroaches because they are on welfare health benefits? Do I have to say more?

This nation should reward people who support and uphold this nation's laws, not break them! Period! Do we allow cockroaches to breed and expand their lot within our homes, just because they are hungry and desperately need to survive?

If illegal aliens are so desperate to survive, why are they breedng so rapidly to have more mouths to feed?

They aren't decent people at all...they are criminals who broke the law to get here in the first place. They continuously show disrespect to our country and consume tax payer money and they want a free pass to citizenship. Too bad for them. Throw them out!

Your plight is unfortunate I am understanding that however, what about Americans whom are poor? Who are in the streets and do not have a home? And, Americans who's quality of life are dropping like a mad hatter. It is not logical to empathize with people whom are not legal and break the laws to the point that we Americans end up dispossessing ourselves?
