Actually that sounds healthy to me. If you are playing alot of sports... its important to remember that muscle weighs more than fat. I would find a new doctor this does not seem like he gave you the right idea. If he said to you loose about 5 lbs. and you would be perfect that would be one thing but to say you are fat he obiously is not a great doctor. I would be conserned about his practice. Good luck hun, it sounds like you are doing just fine.

That doesn't sound fat to me. You have to consider how much muscle you have and how much fat your body is storing as well. Most likely, your doctor is trying to look out for you by telling you to keep eating well and exercising. I've found that doctors often exaggerate when telling people they need to change their diet and lifestyle. Hope that helps boost your confidence! Don't worry, 124 is not fat!

Your BMI is 21.3 so that means you are in the normal weight range. You're not overweight at all. See for yourself at

Don't worry, you are just the perfect weight. If you know that you are trying real hard to do all you can do to stay fit and healthy, then don't worry about it one bit. There is something wrong with your doctor.

If your doctor said that, it's time to find a new doctor.

But I'm just wondering if your doctor really said that or you've just made it up to see what reaction you'd get.

Your overweight. Its all good, you have plenty of time to get thin before it is too late and you are too old to lose weight, and have to stay fat the rest of your life. Just get a little more exercise and start being mindful of your fat and sugar intake.
