The first thing you need do is stop calling you and your country men and women poor, why are you making them victims? Then I would risk life and limb to petition my government in Mexico for the same rights that those in the USA marched for on May 1, 2006 and 2007.
Mexicans have a great wealth in natural resources and capital, and being one of the richest man in the world resides there, it's about the will and the way. I keep hearing that Mexicans are a proud people put some actions behind those words, other than bellyaching about how the USA is raining on your parade

I would lead a revolt against the completely corrupt mexican government so my fellow people would not have to live in such a backward country. One so terribly run, that they have to leave home and burden the people of another country and break the law in another country to make a decent living.

There are way too many people on this earth to feel sorry for and give charity to. Those people who dont want to assimilate with American culture and who talk sht behind our backs in spanish I do not give a damn about. Now those of you illegal supporters need to just send your money down to mexico so these people can stay out of our country. Afterall, they are JUST in America to work and support their families right? They dont want to live amoungst us and I sure as hell do not want to live in something that resembles tijuana.

If I did not have a TV and you did so I broke in you house and stole it would it make me less of a criminal because I said I needed a TV? They are criminals who broke our laws. We have a govt that doesn't enforce the laws. Each legal person in this country is a victim of the crime. Next time someone commits a crime against you, please don't report it. I am sure they have a good reason to break the law.

I would look for a way to improve my life legally, then apply for a work visa legally to work in the USA. I believe in human dignity - and the best way to have dignity is to do it legally. Don't tell me there is no way - there is always a way to do it legally - it may take time, but there is always a way. I've met and talked to many legal immigrants from central America.

I wouldn't create a family I couldn't afford,that's the majority of the problem.
Many of them pay thousands to coyotes and I hear that Mexico is actually a fairly rich country so I don't buy the whole starving thing.

If I broke the law, I would expect to suffer the consequences if caught. Now put yourself in our shoes with our children in overcrowded and failing schools, watching hospitals close and services be drained that we have paid into for our own use and that of our people in time of need?
What do you do if you are US?

I would do the same thing that my forefathers did - fight to improve my own country! I wouldn't break into another country and steal!
In fact, I'm taking a more active role in my own country, since it's on a major decline and needs to be improved....

Stay in my country.
But that's not a political statement, I'm just the kind who has 'roots.' I've stayed in the /city/ where I was born my whole life.

I would gather people in my own position and march the streets of my own country to make a change. Si se Puede needs to be applied to their own country.
