I broke a toilet lid at work today, it was plastic and I sat on it to tie my shoe laces, it flexed and then there was an almighty crack and the lid had broken into about 5 pieces. I put the broken lid pieces down beside the sanitary waste disposal bin and crept out and didn't report it as I was too embarrassed.

i broke part of a "flat-pack" coffee table i was building yesterday, i screwed a screw in the wrong way and it split the wood, i'm really gutted coz i'm a perfectionist and i'd already made a shelving unit and a TV stand which came out fine!

Gutted about the toilet seat, i've done that before but i stood on it - to the fix the shower curtain back onto the rail in a hotel, so there was no way of getting out of it. they knew who'd done it!

I'm not sure it was my fault, but I used the restroom at my house, then couldn't get out! The doorknob had broken and would not work! My husband heard me yelling and came and took the knob off. It still wouldn't open!! He passed some screwdrivers through the hole where the knob was and I had to take the pins out of the hinges to get out of the bathroom!!

i was playing with a ball in my house and then it accidentally broke a glass it shattered to pieces, but i was honest and told everyone what happened except i left out the broken by the ball part.

I am quite well known in my store as a clumsy chick, my first break occurs at between ten and twelve usually. I didn't break anythinjg to day though, that I remember anyway!

i sat on top of my ex bf on the toilet lid and it broke underneath us,it was so funny. he said to my mum 'i had an accident on the toilet' lol
