i think god exists in every ones on personal way. my god is different from yours mainly because each person will have his own interpretation of whichever holy book you are reading.

as for godliness i think that would have to depend on how you think your god would act

personally i think my god is a god of love and understanding
and not this god of war and intolerance that the extreme right keeps pushing on us in america. but then thats their god i guess.

God is the one unity in all the diversity. God is like the light, when directed through a prism, becomes split into the whole color spectrum. God loves diversity, which is why there are so many flowers, not just roses or lotuses, but millions.

Yet it is one energy, one source of prana, that causes them all to grow. That same life energy that goes up the stem of a flower flows up our spine. When a most beautiful song is sung with energy and devotion we can feel that energy as in "the hair on my back, arm stood up". That field of light, the field of all possibilites from which all the diversity springs is God.

If you read Holy texts, they will tell you the way you identify a true Saint, is that everything they say keeps coming true. Every question you have, they can give you the answer. They know you better than you know yourself and they can make you become free. They can do what appear to be miracles. On deeper understanding, however, they will teach you that all miracles actually follow natural laws, but are sped up, so they appear to the limited mind as magic.

You people live in India, be REAL scientists and go visit some REAL Holy men and see for yourselves!

Wise men? Now there's a broad subject. The non-locality properties of two virtual particle pairs light years apart gives one pause to think that all is one, and all is now. The concept of god exists, of course. It is tempting to think that the universe conspired to become self aware by evolving something as remarkable as an eyeball, but, who knows. We have made so much progress scientifically in the last 100 years, just think what we might discover in another 100 years. I don't believe in a "personal god."

1. No and yes. I believe there has to be a higher power, as for GOD? No one can say with any degree of certainty.
2. No, i believe in human qualities, some simply possess more than others. They're not divine by any means, just geneticly fortunate. nothing more.

God exists but like you wisely said ,not in forms we comprehend. God is the pure and subtle energy of the Universe that in symphony materializes all things from it's song
