I'm 15 and I'm going to California from the east coast by myself. Last summer i went but i had an escort. So I have a few questions:
1. When i go to the airport to check my bags and get boarding passes, do i get boarding passes for all of my connecting flights at the same time? I am connecting in Charlotte and at Dulles before landing in CA.
2. My friend bought my tickets for me at usairways.com. Do i just bring my confirmation number to the airport in place of tickets? Are there tickets i have to print out?
3. Any suggestions for flying crosscountry and navigating the airports??

Thanks so much

No, i meant Dulles in Washington, D.C. Yes, I know they are strange connecting flights. Is there any way to change them or is that out of the question?

Thats an odd itinerary... flying to the west, then back northeast, then all the way across the contry... unless by Dulles (meaning IAD, in Washington, DC) you were trying to say Dallas (meaning DFW, in Dallas, TX)... anyway,

1.yes, you will get all your boarding passes when you check in.

2.You can can check in online and print your boarding passes then, or you can wait until you get to the airport... your confirmation number will be handy but they should be able to check you in with just your name and a photo ID...

3. Just follow the signs... be on time for you flight... and have a good time...

Additional Details: That may be out of the question because one, they may be full, and two....you may have to pay an extra booking fee.......If you want to change your flight, just ask when you check-in....make sure you ask if there is a fee.....

Charlotte is really all that hard to navigate through....good that there is a huge food court there....never been to dulles though...

Just make sure you really read the signs well....it shouldn't be that hard to know where your gate is....come on, i know your reading comprehension is good enough for this....also if you get lost, ask one of the thousands of us airways employees....

I would just check-in at the airport, than just check in online because, well their tickets are easier to you know....than paper from home....of course then, just ask all the questions....make sure you write your questions down before you forget.....
