Gal.5:25 if we live by the Sprit, let us also walk by the Spirit
Eph. 3:11 according to the eternal purpose which He made in Christ Jesus our Lord.

In Galatians 5:16 Paul tells us to walk by the Spirit. The Christian walk is absolutely by the Spirit, not by the flesh. According to the context of chapter five, the Spirit in 5:16 must be the Holy Spirit, who dwells in our regenerated spirit and mingles with it. To walk by the Spirit is to have our walk regulated by the Holy Spirit within our spirit. This is contrasted with our walk being regulated by the law in our flesh.
It is not possible to separate our spirit from the Spirit, for the two spirits have been mingled and have become one spirit. Paul’s word in 1 Corinthians 6:17 … says that he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit. Since our spirit is mingled with the spirit, we nee to learn to have our daily life in the Spirit. We can never overemphasize the importance of having our daily walk in our spirit.

God wants us to live by Jesus teachings and adhere to those principles. Love God with everything you have and love your neighbor as yourself. Religion is just a bunch of man made rules and regulations. Religious people love God too, don't get me wrong, however, religion is not going to get you where you want to go and will not fulfill God's eternal purpose. Only living life through Jesus Christ will fulfill God's purpose for our lives.

No, I do not believe that God's intentions when He sent Jesus to earth to do His will had anything to do with any type of religion.

Christ is not a religion, because man has turned Him into one, doesn't make it correct.

Man has no business inserting his own beliefs and standards on the eternal. Only God can mandate a true belief system that is worthy of His approval. Man does not have this authority or power over God.

God Bless You

The word Religion has been given a diffrent meaning by our culture and has been bashed so many times. Yes God wants us to obey and love him. Christian need to follow the bible. Unfortunatley we are split up by so many denominations and can't seem to get along.

True Christians walk by the light of God's word, the Bible.
("...Scripture is inspired by God, & beneficial for: teaching, reproving, setting things straight, disciplining in righteousness...")[*1]
They do not follow man-made doctrines, beliefs, or practices.
Christ & his Apostles all warned that there would be many claiming to be his followers, who would "prove false to their claim"[*2], and to, "Make sure of all things; hold fast to what is fine"[*3]. The Beroeans were praised for there intense desire to prove to themselves (by in-depth research & study of Scripture) what is "good & acceptable"[*4] to God, and we are encouraged to do likewise.

Religion is man’s attempt to please their gods and control other people. Religion has rules, rituals and laws to follow. Every religion believes that they have the answers for redemption. The answers for religion lies within man’s ability to follow it’s teachings.

Jesus is God’s way to reach down to mankind with love, forgiveness, acceptance and grace. Jesus is not a religion. He is God and He is the way for man to have fellowship with God.

When we come to Jesus, we are full of the original sin nature and the sins that we have committed. He cleanses us when we accept Him as our Lord and Savior and repent of those sins.

Our redemption and salvation results from His willful and sacrificial death on the cross to take our place for our sin nature and our sins. He is the only atonement possible because He is without sin. Jesus does it for us because we are incapable of following any religion perfectly. He did follow the law perfectly.

Coming to Jesus, not religion, is what God requires for us to become forgiven, sanctified, and have the relationship with God that He intended from the start. Jesus is the only way to God.

No. We are not under the law of sin & death, but under grace. We choose to die to flesh lusts & follow after the Spirit. This is trusting & obeying God the Father, Son & Holy Spirit.

Yes, Jesus calls us to live our beliefs and His way of life and not just get some sort of high from religious experience collecting.
Belief alone does not save only Grace alone through faith which works through love.
