I'm pretty sure my supervisor is attracted to me and interested in me but I don't know if I should pursue him. I know he won't ask me out because it's against the rules for him to try anything and I know he doesn't know that I'm interested in him so he'd be risking a lot if he made a pass because he doesn't know if I would report him. We're both young, he's 24 and I'm 20 but I'm kind of shy so I don't know how to approach him about this. Should I just forget about him or should I just say something that would suggest I like him or maybe get a little flirtly, in a subtle way? What can I say to show him that I'm interested without being obvious? And what can I do to test if he is interested in me?

Trust me, he won't make the first move because he'd risk losing his job cause he knows I could tell someone he is sexually harrassing me. I'm only a temp. I have no intention of staying long. Only a few more weeks. I wanna find out soon if he is interested. Don't want to wait much longer.

BTW, I only see him a few times throughout the day. Dating him or not, it won't affect my work because we barely see each other. He's a line supervisor of the entire factory, he can't stay in just one spot. When I do see him, he is always staring at me and smiles and tries to talk to me whenever he can. He stands closer to me than he does anyone else and he always moves me away from guys when they stand close to me.

I think it depends on how long you are a temp for...If you two actually have a friendship established and talk comfortably, then you should have plenty of time to interact with him on a one on one basis...
Unfortunately, you might have to wait until your last couple of weeks or so to get the word out. For example, if you are a summer temp and you will only be around until August, then maybe you should wait until the middle of July to start flirting with him. Maybe you should ask him if you could get some people to go out after work on your last day (sucks you're only 20, you could ask him out to drinks if you were 21), and then cozy up to him then and let it all out...
I dont know how you would approach him, since I've got no clue how he is, but I dont know how responsive he would be if you show him right now. Maybe you could risk it... and create a little workplace drama??
hmm.

Im not sure. Personally I wouldnt be comfortable making the first move but hey if you think you've got no other choice and you want to then go for it. When its near to the time you plan to leave (to make it less uncomfortable) ask if he'd like to go for coffee sometime. If he says no at least you're outta there and if he says yes well then see what happens.

Since you are in a temp situation, I would make the first move, but let him know you are available on AFTER your assignment ends, where both of you will be free to explore the relationship. Under no circumstances would I go after him while you are still under contract where he works.

Green Eyed Girl, Since your time is short , better be open and honest ! Or pass hm a hand written letter or a note telling him you need a one on one after work. You also could put it in his auto or desk, if he has one ! Please don"t play games or you may lose. Honesty is the best policy.

First of all it's not normally cool to date a superior. But hey Love is blind. Send an anonymous not to him via carrier. let him know whats up. Tell him your interested in him and ask him what he thinks. and Tell him to respond. since it is anonymous you won't get in trouble just deny if it looks bad. Hopefully he is not a total moron. and He knows where it is coming from
Respectfully

never dip the pen in company ink.
you alreayd admit he'd get fired for dating you, why are you trying to press it? If you really cared for him, would you put his job at risk?
Keep his email address, and when you leave this job, send him an email, and hook up with him then.

nicely, i assume my unique plan of slamming a horse head on her table does not possibly persist with here. until bosslady owns a horse. Hmmm, possibly she has a particular television dinner interior the freezer that she's quite looking forward to having for lunch (until that is already exceeded), which you would be able to desire to de-field, un-saran, and splay all up on her table. Then she would understand which you will get to her maximum enjoyed further-to-paintings $0.ninety 9 food any time you prefer. ANY time. She'd get the message... .

Wait until you leave then call him and ask him out. Don't make any moves right now, he does not want any trouble. Not saying you are trouble.:)
