I've read that the best dog names are 2 syllables and differnet sounds in each one. It helps the dog remember the sound of its own name. NICO would fit that but Lilly, although 2 syllables, has too many L's in it. Lavender is too long.
Remember you're naming the dog for the dog's sake, not yours or because people will think it's cute. Dogs respond to SOUNDS. Keep it simple and DISTICT.
And make sure your dog is by far, your friend.

i really like aura and spirit if you reaaalllly like natural hippie names but the name i dont like is zora it reminds me of zorro which is not a cute name for a dog all the other names are good too i havethree dogs named shadow, lily and sheba
well sheba is mine lily and shadow are my brothers dogs

I like the name Sage, that was the name of my first dog as a kid and she was a great dog! I also like Lilly.

The names Blossom or spirit r da best, but Willow sounds like ur calling ur puppy a tree.

You could go with Ganja, Goo Ball, Ganga Goo Ball, Hash Pipe, Patulli, Nagchampa, Acid, Phish, or Hairy. I like Stalin, though.

I'm not a hippy, I'm a hillbilly but I named my dog Watermelon. It's a natural name.
