What happened today wasn't exactly 'great'. While I didn't completely agree with the bill, I guess it was better than nothing. Now we're back to where we started, these people are going to stay here driving without licenses, not paying their taxes, working for the low wages, etc. And again, we won't be able to do anything about it. So yea...

The case here it's not about knowing the difference between right and wrong, any idiot can get that, it's about knowing politics. Most of you antis just talk smack without doing research on the topic. This is not a right/wrong issue. This is a we have to find the right solution even if it goes against what people think issue. Have you ever sat and thought what would REALLY happen if we deported 12 million illegal immigrants? Obviously not. But I wouldn't expect much more of a typical anti.

I agree! I don't have anything against immigrants. They are a part of what makes America so great.
But the people that come here illegally and get jobs, don't pay taxes, but get our benefits like medical care and government handouts. That stuff is ours! We need it for true Americans, (blacks, whites, whatever)....Legal American Citizens!
I think the politicians realize that they will have a lot of new voters so they are trying to get their future votes. It is crap!

Now they just need to let the authorities pick them up and throw them back....let the Border Patrol carry guns and USE THEM and put up a tall fence. We need to make it impossible for them to get across the border (instead of someone getting a home video of them running from out of the bushes in groups of 20). The need to stop expecting to get the benefits that WE pay for when they set foot on OUR soil ILLEGALLY!
I agree TOTALLY! Illegal is the KEY WORD!

I agree. they need to get out of those gated communities & see first hand what the illegals are doing to the U.S.A. Then they would want to enforce our labor & immigration laws.

Well, we better get started rounding up a posse and raising money to start rounding up those illegals. Seriously, there's millions, so we better start now. And in the mean time, since that legislation was shot down, we're not securing our boarders, so they're still pouring in. Let's see if who can start wrangling them up and deporting them faster than they're coming in - because our federal government ain't gonna do it.
Edit: I really don't mean disrespect, I'm just greatly concerned that we're back to square one instead of doing *something*; and I really don't believe we can ever deport them. It's not feasible.
