My right ear started hurting yesterday afternoon. I took a shower that morning, and there was no water in my ear. Now, my ear still hurts a little, but not very much. Should I go see the doctor?

Have you had a recent cold or sinus infection? It is not likely to be an ear infection, but if the pain persists I would make a visit to the MD. Prolonged pain or infection can cause scar tissue and interfere with your hearing.

Ear infections are generally accompanied by ringing in your ears, pain that lasts longer than 3-5 days and depending on how long/bad it is, nausea, vomiting, and headaches. It also may hurt to chew gum or any tough foods.

If the pain goes away or subsides then you may just have an ear ache.

No, wait and go to the dr. if it starts hurting more. In the meantime, keep your sinuses and eustacian tubes open by taking decongestants. My guess is that the decongestant (like Sudafed) will clear up the problem.

it will eventually go away or maybe take some Tylenol aspirin or some Bayer back and body pain.
