I am male 5'6" 145 lb with a 36" waist. My body fat is 33%. I was in good shape about a year ago, back when I used to exercise. 5'6" 28" waist 115 lb, body fat 13. I got lazy though, and I gained some but I am out of shape now?
Also, does anyone know any home fitness tests to do, or home fat tests? Thanks

If you have 33% body fat, that's bad. A guy your age should be at least in the low to mid teens for fat percentage. It sounds like that 30 lbs you put on is pretty much pure fat. You need to stay away from the junk food and sodas and get back down to that slim waist, maybe not 28, but probably at least a 30, given your height.

It's not terrible... but not optimal. The reason it's not so great is because you were just a year before 30 pounds lighter, with no real height difference. Therefore, if I were you, I'd try to lose some weight. It's not so bad... at the start of this year, I was 5'11", 215.... now 6 months later I'm 6'0" 185... all you have to do is eat less calories a day. If you really are serious about this, I'd go to a nutritionist.

No offense, but the numbers you gave just don't seem to add up.

I just don't see how any guy who weighs only 145 pounds could have a 36" waist.

Why would you stop working out? Why don't you stop being lazy and work out more and then you won't even have to worry about 'home fat tests'? Why in the world would you spend so much time trying to figure out how fat you are when you could just work out and not have to worry about it?!
