My husband has a Remington 30 cal. rifle dated back in the early 1900's that is engraved on both sides of the barrel and was looking for a site that he could find out how much it is worth. Any ideas??? TYIA

Have your husband go to the library or a book seller and look for a copy of the "Blue Book of Gun Values" written by Stephen Fjestad. It is available on the Internet also.It is the industry "bible" on antique, collectible, and modern firearms. It is updated each year and gives actual market value based on condition, finish, model and manufacturer.I have used it as a main reference for 28+ years in my Gunshop/Appraisal business! Good Luck.....

Its not easy finding an honest appraisal. I would love that same site, cause I have a Civil War rifle/musket.
