Taoist. Taoists believe that foxes are able to transform themselves into human beings with magical powers. They are called Fox Spirits or Hu Hsien.

Stories of Fox spirits are abundant in chinese myths and legends from Liao Zai stories to the Creation of Gods stories.

I would guess he follows kaiserism (the belief that Kaiser Wilhelm II is a god reincarnated on earth), it is very popular among members of the Mexican navy and the Bulgarian airforce, and probably woodland creatures.
