What needs to happen now is a counter-proposal. A resolution and bill in congress to begin the immediate rounding up and deportation of illegal immigrants. One of our esteemed Conservative Senators needs to take the initiative and bring THAT bill to a vote.

YES we certainly did but we cannot stop now. This amnesty fiasco has demonstrated most clearly that we must continue to be aware of how our representatives are MISREPRESENTING us.

Now that this corrupt bill failed will they begin to upholding the laws on the book. They said they now have fail proof ID's and they could easily build a 'virtual' fence. So are they going to do what they say could accomplish so easily? Why were these measures contingent on passing an 'amnesty bill'?

They are not looking out for us so we must become involved and let them know we pay their salaries.

Congress' ratings are at an all time low and totally incompetent but they are presently voting themselves a $4,200 pay raise bringing their salary to $170,000.

If you or I ever got an evaluation so low would our employer give us a raise or warning. Of course, we cannot decide how much we should be paid.

Term limits are desperately needed now but no one is even bringing it up.

Yes, we won because we found our collective voice. Americans from all political backgrounds, Republicans, Democrats, and Independents all wrote, called, and told their Senators "Don't you DARE" and they finally heard us.

The next step?
To Remove any Senator who voted for this mess the Second time. If you Senator did, make sure to write this day down, tell your friends to do the same, and HOLD your Senator to their vote to destroy our nation.

All we ask for is a nation of Laws and Borders, little more.

Yes we did. As a Hispanic man, I was always angry that the focus of the left has always been on helping non-American latinos when their focus should be on the problems of Latinos who are born and raised here.

There have been no fixes for our illiteracy, dropout, crime, and pregnancy rates yet the left wants to add more people to further weigh down over worked and over used social services?

This is a victory not only for conservatives but for minorities as well.

We are only a quarter of the way there.

We need to encourage our leaders in the Congress and Senate to start enforcing the existing laws!

Yes and we need to keep at them. Obama presidential candidate has consistantly voted for Illegals "rights". He voted for the bill to give them SS benefits in Illinois even tho they had not paid into the system. And he voted yes on this bill.

Yes we did. I guess its time we set those idiots on the hill in the right direction. They apparently are incapable of setting an agenda that is good for America.
