Okay so me and my mom have a little clothes issue.

This is what she wont let me WEAR.

Okay on top if she can see the line that seperate the boobs she wont let me wear it. USUALLY the line is so small man its like 2 cms. And if she sees the line she is like COVER UP. Then i cant wear skirts or shorts lower then my knees. If I wear a tanktp it has to cover my boobs COMPLETALY. not even a line or part of it until my neck basicly. For my pants i wear low rise pants and i cover them with my shirt. But if she sees my back being exposed (my shirt when i bend down goes up a bit exposing my back) She gets so pushy. But she lets me wear thongs. I mean i pay for my clothes but ig uess she doesnt like the way her daughter buys clothes. How can i make her loosen up? I am 15, and i know i shouldnt dress slutty or anything but she is taking it a little too far.

Well, I agree with her. You don't want to dress to provocative, because, as lame as this sounds, it could be sending out the wrong message. Save your cleavage (the line that separates your boobs), for when you're older. Remember she's only trying to protect you, not control you. Yes, you do pay for your own clothes, and you should be able to pick whatever you want, but you have to respect your mom. One day, when you both are not fighting and having a good day, bring her into your room and go through your clothes. Ask for a compromise. You'll stop showing cleavage, if she lets you get shorts or skirts that are about two inches off you knees. I know that doesn't seem like much, but you have to let your mom warm up to the idea. After while, just starting hiking it up to a reasonable length. As you get older she'll stop harping on your clothes, or she may never. My mom never has and I dress great, if I do say so myself!

There is plenty of nice clothing out there that your mom would approve of and won't make you look like an old lady. You are 15 years old and don't need your body exposed. I am 25 years old (which still makes me young) and I wouldn't even allow you to wear the thongs! Remember, respect yourself and your body. Wearing clothes that are a bit revealing doesn't necessarily make you a slut but at your age I doubt you are all that equipped to handle the attention that comes from wearing those types of clothing.

Nah, at 15, the last thing you want is cleavage hanging out.

The creepy old men will be hitting on you left, right, up, down, and kitty corner.

You haven't said if you're large-chested or not, sometimes that has a lot to do with it.

She lets you wear thongs, no one is normally going to see them. With low cut/rise things, you're going to be showing off just a bit, and at 15, I think the last thing you want is some old guy not backing off, because he can see down your shirt.

Maybe she should let you dress as you want, and after a few creepy experiences, you'll change your mind? Try throwing that angle at her. That if she doesn't let you do it now, while you can come talk to her about things, you'll do it when you're older, and it might not turn out all that well.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a prude, I love showing off my cleavage. I don't like it when creepy people stare down it, so I've cut back on the cleavage-shirts. Live and learn, haha.

I am a parent of a fifteen year old daughter and I feel that your mom is being fair. Times are so different than we grew up, so I think what she is doing is trying to protect you. There are a lot of sexual predators in the world and what they look for is young girls exposed skin. Just think, you are fifteen and there is only a couple more years before you're an adult. Then you can wear the clothes that you want, even then, be tasteful in your choice of clothing. THERE IS A FINE LINE BETWEEN SEXY AND SLUTTY!!!!!!

No. she's not taking it too far - you're being a brat.

IT's not worth the argument. Dress appropriately for your age - and 15 is not an adult - so stop trying to dress like you're a lot older than you really are - Be glad she lets you wear thongs instead of bloomers!

In my day we called girls like that "jail bait" Today it's indeed called "S-L-U-T-T-Y"

You're being a brat. Quit arguing with your Mom.

Fair or unfair she's your mom and makes the rules still. Be patient. In 3 years you can and will wear what you want, when you want, and how you want.
