I'm eighteen years old and am looking to buy a 04 Mustang GT. What I need to know is who would be the best insurance company to go with. I'm looking to join the Army within the next two months and haven't completed high school (Going for my GED). If those are contributing factors to lowering or raising my insurance, please let me know as well.

Thank you

There's really no way anyone's going to be able to give you an accurate quote without knowing all your information (such as place of residence, marital status, driving record and credit score). You also didn't mention how much coverage you're going to get (if you finance the car you'll need full coverage, but the dollar amount of coverage and deductible you choose can greatly affect the price).

You'll also find that quotes can vary a LOT depending on what insurance company you go through. The best you can do is get a no obligation rate quote from as many carriers as possible to find out who's cheapest. Most carriers will give you quotes online these days.

Here's a few sites I've personally used to get quotes (I'm currently with Progressive, btw...they had the lowest rates for my particular car and situation, but that may not be the case for you):

http://geico.com
http://progressive.com
http://statefarm.com
http://esurance.com

for that old of a model one you would pay around 200 a month through most companies, and it might be less since your joining the armed forces ,they often give discounts to people who are a member of them.you,d have to call around to get a good quote though the prices will vary a lot,it being an older car will help out a lot, good luck with it hope this helps.
