Once again I guess when I ask questions regarding race either I have to be extermely nice or extremely hateful and racist. Once again I get a question deleted because I dare question why Asians are performing statistically better in our classrooms while other students have been falling back? I guess YA is not a place to actually discuss real issues.

It does seem the Yahoo people have gone crazy. One student posted his chemistry homework on Y!A, and all five answers told him to do his own homework, and all five got violation notices and had their answers deleted. It was the right answer to the question too!

I know and it's irritating. All the ones who claim racism is cause by ignorance should realize ignorance is the lack of knowledge. If the question is racist, then it's our duty to educate. If we violate and call the person names, we just make him mad and more racist. TO reduce racism, we need a greater understanding of each other, and censoring people does the opposite.
TO answer your question. The east asain come from a confuscious base culture and its drilled into them that education is the most important thing. Second , education is expensive in some of those coutries, and so they see it as a great value here. The Asian immigrants come here because they want to climb the social latter. THey see hope in America.
In the latin Country, They come from areas where there are no access to education, so they don't think of it. THere's this plantation mentality, that they can't climb the social ladder. In Latin AMerica, there is the rich and there is the poor and no movement up or down from the status. Education would not help much in that situation. They come here not to open a small business so much as to get better pay as a physical laborer. Tere other reason, but I deleted it because people here would then violate me.
Yes I know I generalized, but it is acceptable and it's assumed when talking about culture.

To answer your question, Yahoo has hired many very young illegals along with their normal people and Yahoo is a far left liberal company. They don't like opposition to their opinion. Now I will probably get deleted for this answer but I still stick to my guns on this matter. Points mean nothing to me so they don't matter to me.
Asians are much better than most others. They go to school year round and they are much higher than most other countries. I had a Chinese girl the worked for me cleaning my shop and she was the best I've ever had to clean my shop but she left when she got her Masters Degree at the local university. I miss her so much.

I didn't see your question but I have an opinion on it - Asians as a rule view education as a more required achievement than others. They value it much more. We could take a lesson from them. YA Police? No, just ignorant participants that think any question of real substance is probably racist or wrong. Am I pregnant gets a lot more attention.

Guess not so that should tell you to stop posting questions about race if you want it to stay on y!a. Also they deleted a question of mine all it was was a question saying lets get 100 answers i went back to look for it and it was gone.

Its mostly based on keywords. the users here have a bit to do with it too. if they report you or your question more than 3 times, it goes away.

I'm thinking that Yahoo doesn't want to receive a flood of complaints from sensitive (or extremely politically correct) people. After all, people have a way of suing who knows what whenever they get angry because of something simple.

They work harder and their parents are very focused on education. That is a stereotype, but the test scores bear it out as a general matter.
