I once worked in a slaughterhouse for 6 hours. That was the most awful job I've ever had in my life!

I've also had some other horrible jobs:

-Working at a convenience store (anything working with the general public pretty much sucks rocks.)
-Collections. 'Nuff said.
-Help desk (call centers also suck royally).

my first job, when I was 14. I worked at McDonalds, I was the only person who didn't know Spanish. Customers would order in Spanish and I obviously would have no idea what they were asking for, which was a ton of fun. The worst part was that one of the managers HATED me because I wasn't Hispanic. She'd yell at me for things the other workers didn't get in trouble for. She'd tell me to do things, in Spanish, and then yell at me for not doing them when I had no idea what she was saying. She told me I had to take my breaks in the basement which smelt funny and had warning signs everywhere, when actually, we were allowed to take our breaks out in the restaurant (I didn't know she was lying for several weeks). It was the worst summer of my life. It probably wouldn't have been that bad if I were an adult, but as a 14-year-old it was awful.

That kinda beats anythin i could have done or thought of. My closest worst job was workin in an old people's home for people with mental/physical disabililties. The smell was horrible, perhaps not as bad in the slaughterhouse though, but i was there for two weeks. The only way out was to go in the room where all the staff took breaks, but that smelled of cigars which was nasty. Tbh, unless some1 here actually works in a slaughterhouse, you'll have beaten every1, even a morgue wouldn't be as bad.

pizza hut. horrible manager, bad hours and working conditions and my only reward (other than my pittance of am hourly wage) was a free pizza which helped to pile so much weight on me by the time I left.

Oh, and also the time I worked for McDonalds and had to cover a shift at another store in a concert venue. Big mistake - Spice Girls Concert that night, and I was so fed up of pre-pubescant girls ordering happy meals. That was the entire shift basically, queue out of the door! By the end of the evening I had well over £3k in the till - compare that to my wage, 6 hours x 3.25 per hour - what a joke!

I worked for the council in the summer for some extra money when I was at college. I mainly mowed lawns and did gardening work. One day I was strimming some long grass and hit something. I only realised when it went flying in the air and hit me on my face (luckily I was wearing a helmet with a visor) that it was a dog turd !! A fresh one too !! Needless to say I never went back after that :O
Definately the worst experience I ever had.

When I found out a company that I worked for had their products being made in China and I had found photos of the plant that was making our products. There were young children and old people that had to use holes in the ground for relieving themselves. I said something to the owner about it and he fired me.

Slaughterhouse is pretty difficult to top.

The worst job experiences I've had had to do with my bosses, not with the job itself. One was a drug addict and another is a drunk. Good thing no one was wielding a butcher knife though...
