The bald eagle is our national bird. Even if the bald eagle were to come off the endangered species list, hunting it would endanger it again and put it back on the list. I think our national bird will never be hunted.

No we will not be able to hunt Bald Eagles. We will not be able to hunt Bald Eagles because they are the United States bird. Just like Michigan has their own state bird the Robin. So I think we will never be able to hunt Bald Eagles unless the United States government changes the rules for some odd reason.

No.
First, carnivores tend to be crummy eating. The meat is tough and the very gamey. The kind of meat you would only eat in a survival situation.
Second, federal law limits use of the feathers and parts of eagles to the Native Americans. (Head dresses?) Even if you could hunt an eagle legally, you would have to turn it over to them if you ever shot one.
Third, it is the symbol of America. I am sure you would have problems with "eagle huggers" preventing a change in the law and they would probably screw up your hunt.

No you cannot. It is still protected by federal law as a bird of prey. Just like how you cannot shoot a owl or a hawk.
Yeah you do want to hunt them, the only answer you gave a thumbs up is the one that said you would have to buy a license. You must be one of those rich trophy hunters who pays for caged kills.
Yeah, give me a thumbs down. I gave you the correct info, They are protected by federal law, all large birds of prey are.

No. It's a symbol of our country. As a matter of fact, I don't think it was ever legal to hunt them. Their numbers were dwindling in the sixties and seventies due to DDT use killing eggs and the destruction of their old nesting grounds.

Of course not, the bald eagle is our state bird. We wouldn't hunt it even if the government did allow it.

No. The prohibition on killing them is a lot older than the endangered species lists.

I seriously doubt it being the Nations bird. I think if you would shoot a bald eagle it would still be like shooting a person.
