1.Whats your fav kind of candy?
2.Do you watch the price is right?
3. Do puppies make you smile?
4. Whats your religion?

I am seeing it more and more and its driving me nuts! Does anyone else agree? Like adding that last question really makes it a deep question.

I am referring to questions that start off with a sequence of nonsense questions and end with a "Whats your religion?" question.

Every now and then it's fun to see something a little light hearted, and not questions slamming believers and nonbelievers left right and center. Do I answer them? Maybe, if I feel like it.

What annoys me more are the why's this been deleted questions, or posts that aren't questions but just rants.

1. I don't eat candie, 2. No, 3. I have a slight phobia of dogs, I'm more likely to cry and freeze up, 4. Celtic Pagan.

.....yes I'm fairly bored at the moment.

In case you have not noticed this is about the only category that you get any kind of answer at all. I do admit to having asking a music question here once because the people in the music area could not come up with any thing coherent. I will not add a religion question at the end,,because I really don't care if people remind me "this is religion here"

It's good to have some of those once in awhile, in order to take a little break from those serious and deep questions. Also some people are really bored, and some people add that religion question only so that it would make it ok for the question to be in the R&S catergory.

Peace.

It offers a nice little spiritual break. A time to refocus your thoughts. And who knows it may lead into friendships of people that disagree on other topics. I've seen all different religions attack each other here without just cause. They find fault in anything. But hey we like the same color skittle, you know you aren't all bad.

There are about 100 questions asked per hour on R/S.

If you don't like a question, skip over it.

Freedom of speech should be protected.

The alternative is to return to Nazi Germany and allow some people to censor the others.

edit: sorry for my rather caustic attitude. My husband has had his first account deleted even though he has never said an offensive thing to anyone. -- I am not as forgiving as he is, and I wanted you to know my frank but honest opinion on the subject. -- None of us are (probably) not experts, so if we are not honest with each other then this site would not be as valuable. -- We are both "Red-letter Christians, and we don't know who is censoring our questions and answers.

I don't mind it. I understand it is an attempt to classify people, to find similarities and differences and to see how that relates to belief in a higher power. I'd much rather answer those kind of questions than the "Why do you atheists hate Jesus? Don't you know he loves you anyway?" type.

I like questions like that. It can lighten up the mood, it gives us an opportunity to see the things that we have in common despite religion, and it's just friendly overall. They tack on religion on the end to make it relevant to this category.

(PS: Peachy rings, yes, yes, and Christian!)

No. I like answering questions worth two points per word. I think it more in keeping with what the point system should be. Makes me feel like a lawyer on the clock at $60.00 per hour.

It's summertime and I'm assuming that this is because all the kids aren't in school.. I came to this section to get away from those types of questions but you see them anywhere. They don't really bug me that much anymore.

Sounds cliche but - ignore 'em.
