In your real life...do you keep yourself separated from people who have different beliefs than you or are you tolerant and establish a relationship with this person without involving your religious views?

With 'some' of the way Christians act on YA, is probably the same way the act out in real life.

I have been Christian, though I've gone to a few different
denominations throughout my life---and I have known many
lovely people of many faiths......
Why would you think that perhaps Christians keep to themselves and avoid those of different faiths?
I am sure that some people of some belief systems do avoid
those of different beliefs; however, the Christians I grew up
with and have known in my lifetime (I am 55) are not exclusive.
I will say that I really do not know how one would have a close
relationship with friends if you are not able to share your
religious views---that is where tolerance comes in---we
all believe what we believe and do not argue with one another about it.
I have noticed an interesting occurance in society, however;
that is, those who consider themselves more liberal, more
"free thinking", more open minded are quite prejudiced
toward those who are Christian (as opposed to any other
religious practice, even those which are quite fundamental
and some which are dangerous in some aspects).
I find it an interesting irony.
All the best to you!

We are all on different paths and lead different lives. I am a Christian and I choose to spend a majority of my time with those who support the same beliefs as I do, but I have many friends and coworkers who are different. We are called to love everyone, so I would never segregate myself from those who think differently.

It is however impossible to have a relationship with a person without somehow expressing your religious views. My religious beliefs shape who I am and I don't change the way I think, talk, or act, when I'm hanging out with them. That would be a hypocrate. It doesn't mean I preach to them when we hang out either.

In all my life, here included because to not be so would be hypocritical, I tolerate others with different beliefs because that is their choice. If someone asks a question I will answer because I am called to have a ready defense for my faith but I will only bring my religious views if somebody asks about them and not try to force conformity upon others because it is not my place to dictate how they live. I try to live a life that is different from normal to have people ask about at which point I can talk about how Christ has made me a different person but I will not overtly ram it down their throats.

depends on the person., If I meet someone and they are nice I will establish a relationship but if not I won't. But then if I do have a friend and find out they get their kickks from shoplifting and choking kittens then I would distance myself from them

Since only .18% of the world are Mormons like myself, it is really hard to not be friends with people of different beliefs. My best friend is a control friek opsessed with evolution, and he's still my friend.

Neither.

I don't separate myself from others who disagree with my beliefs, but that doesn't mean that I don't share my beliefs with them. I don't think it's a good idea to be pushy, though. Sharing is a good thing, but you need to also be willing to listen if they want to share their beliefs with you otherwise you are being disrespectful of them.
