I would do it... but it would certainly go towards booze, drugs, sex, and gambling (among other things). But if you are atheist at heart, what's the worry!?

I don't know, but that would be a pretty stupid reason to convert.
The only valid reason you would convert to Christianity, is if you believed it were the truth (irrespectful of the cost or the benefits involved - you validly adhere to a belief and practice what is contained within it because you hold that it is a true description of the universe).

I've seen Methodist go Baptists because the food is better at the Baptists picnic and vice versa.
I think what he means though is that when they win they say something like 'Oh my God!' out of excitement, thats hardly a conversion as much as it is a convention.
