Pretty much any table food is fine except raw fish, eggs, honey, and nuts.

Cut it down into small pieces because 1-year olds don't know how or always remember to chew their food first. Try one food at a time (2-3 times) to test for allergies, especially with allergy prone kids or allergy prone foods (like the ones above).

Cheerios are always entertaining because they are easy to pick up, taste great, and are the perfect size.

A variety of foods...dont think there are restrictions as long as the child can pick things up with fingers, chew and move food around in their mouth.

Start with easy things...bananas, fruit, soft veggies, soft meats, Cereals and grains.

My son eats whatever we eat generally.

Everything you eat...with various exceptions like sashimi.

One year olds can eat everything, make it heatlhy...I don't suggest a diet of french fries and burgers...my one year old eats everything.
Just make sure it's cut into tiny peices and not hard (no hard candy or uncooked veggies).

Whatever you're eating. As long as it's not a choking hazard or an allergy trigger. Have fun!

how about a list of no's?
NO: peanut butter, hotdogs (unless cut VERY small), grapes. nuts, chips, honey, ect. these are all choking hazards except the honey. that is dangerous because it is raw.
