Busy. But that's for tomorrow, or at least later in the day. I'm going to bask for a few hours.

It is so rare we have good news from our legislature. I may keep a clippings file.... (joke)

That's the worrying part - both sides seemed uninterested in passing further legislation 'before 2008'. That means until after the election.

We need to see a strong enforcement measure but there isn't a 60 person majority to support it, so it won't get through the senate. The whole lot - Democrats and Republicans - should be ashamed of the way they are failing America at this time. We MUST have border security.

There is no chance of that. Remember, the Amnesty bill only failed because we just barely managed to browbeat at least 41 senators into not ending debate on it. It would take 51 to pass an enforcement-only bill - and it would take 66 to override the presidential veto. But, such a bill will never even see the floor - even a conservative-controlled congress couldn't do it.

In 2009, the Amnesty crowd will get to try again, with a Democratic president that won't be at odds with her (or his) own party on the issue.

This isn't a loss for the so-called pros(I'm pro-immigration reform, not amnesty). We know that once a democratic president gets elected(which will happen), that we will have a better chance of the immigration reform being resurrected again. It aint over until it's over. :-) No matter what the american people say, everyone knows that we are not going to get rid of 12 mil illegals and now that they said no to the immigration reform right now I am going to laugh and laugh as more illegals keep pouring into our country because we couldn't pass a reform that would BETTER our country. It's sad, it really is.

Why no longer attempt and help a sturdy reason on your community area, and ask a journalist from an area paper to pop down and write a chew on the "sturdy reason". Many could make an effort, if it have been for a sturdy reason. Or on the different hand, if it is your rings which you somewhat pick to marketplace/get obtainable interior the common public area, why no longer do something quirky to sell the reality which you have a product rather worth advertising. in the event that they're sturdy sufficient(as a product) and grow to be regular then they're going to do the corporation for you. It rather easily relies upon on what your "motives" are for wanting the so referred to as "15 mins of repute"......... As i'm specific, in case you have been to ask many "celebrities" whether or no longer they had pick the repute or the profession they have, i'm specific countless could chosen the profession, as they do, what they do for the affection/desire to be the terrific, no longer the monetary/repute rewards. the sole reason the "action picture star" existence variety is so well-liked is all the way down to the media, portraying it as something it is not. ask your self, could you easily should be observed via paparazzi anyplace you pass, have reporters camped exterior your front door, waiting for the subsequent "unique scoop"??

Well I have my faith in government for the people back just a little bit. We will still have to stay informed and active so we don't lose momentum.
