The God Delusion = Richard Dawkins = the dumbest book I ever read!

The other book I was reading was called "God is not great"
And the last one "Science can prove there's no God"

However, the funny thing here, is that all these books were in the religion section! These Authors don't believe in God, and their books are full of things about God! You’ll never understand what are they saying! Their ideology is very bad!

For example if I don't believe in Zeus, why Am I going to spend my Whole life talking, researching, writing about him?

These people are doing the same thing! Why?

You're just feigning ignorance. Pretending to not be aware of the influence of organized religion on our lives is simply dishonest, and doesn't reflect well on you.

Another thing, if someone DID believe in Zeus, non-Christians would not hate them the way they hate Christians. Jesus foretold this hatred even BEFORE He was accused, beaten and crucified. He foretold this during a time when people were flocking to hear Him preach and were showing Him adoration. He foretold everything that's happening in the world today 2000 years ago. If people would take the time to read the Bible without an attitude of contempt for God, they would read about current world events and realize it's all true. There is more prophecy which will be fulfilled and it will come to pass just like all the other prophecies have.
Read books by Hal Lindsey who is an expert on biblical prophecy. He explains everything so that even Dawkins would be able to understand if he would forsake his pride and listen to reason. I have read the ridiculous ideas of Dawkins and he is full of hate for a God he says doesn't believe in and he is lost and blind.
You asked why they keep talking about a God they SAY they don't believe exists? They DO believe he exists, but they have chosen to hate Him and they want to turn everyone else away from Him also. Ask yourself who else wants to turn people away from God and you'll know who Dawkins and those like him follow and serve.
I sincerely pray for these people and I feel a burden for their souls. That's why I won't sugar coat the truth and offer half truths just so they will like me.

Let me try this ... again.
Undoubtedly you've heard of oncologists. And you might agree that these folks spend a good part of their lives studying tumors, researching cancer, and helping people with that condition.

I'm sure you're not surprised to hear that many of these good doctors do not HAVE cancer.

In other words, to more properly state the case, if I want to cure a disease, I don't have to suffer from it.

By the way, from your writing, you seem to be a selective "atheist." Apparently you don't believe in Zeus, and probably some many other unnamed gods. In that way you and I are alike. I just disbelieve in one more than you do.

Lastly, even though it is terse, I'm not sure "the dumbest book I ever read" is going to do it for me as a refutation of the work Dr. Dawkins.

I read them & found them FAR from stupid. I thought it was more of a wake-up call for all the brainwashed religious fanatic lemmings that organized religions has spawned. Works like that veritably scream that the existence of an all-know, loving, eternal 'god' is utterly ridiculous. Religion had a purpose (crowd control) in the past when the vast majority of the poplulation were uneducated and were ruled by fear of the mysterious & unknown. In modern times, it's become cultish & in some instances downright dangerous -- consider radicals in any form. Books such as this are found in the 'religion' section because they, too, deal with religion, but from another perspective. I say 'no thanks' to religion; i'm fine without it.

I doubt very, very much that you read The God Delusion because it is an excellent book. With your obvious lack of intelligence I doubt you could make it through one chapter. Isn't it interesting that the higher a persons intelligence the more likely they are to be a atheist...

As for how a bookstore organizes it's books, I often think to myself that the bible should be sold in the fiction section.

Those books are in the religion section because they deal with the subject of religion. Just the same as books in favor of the existence of God, both deal with diferent sides of the same subject.
If you want to read some very compelling scientific evidence in favor of an intelligent Creator, paste these words into your browser:

Perry Marshall if you can read this, I can prove God exists

I have a very difficult time believing you actually read the God Delusion.
But I would like to suggest you read a book called Misquoting Jesus. It explains, with tangible, absolute evidence that a vast majority of the modern King James bible is falsified and made up.
Before you make a claim about a book, you really should give us some excerpts from the book and why you disagree with them. Just saying it stinks doesn't fly.

I have not read any of them, because I agree they are dumb. The line "science can prove there is no God" is clearly nonsense, because it all depends on one's definition of God, doesn't it? "The God Delusion" probably suffers from the same fallacy: that there is a single, consistent use of the word "God" (perhaps only when capitalized).

But of course they would be in the religion section, because they are about religion. They are not promoting it, but religion is their topic.

It can be amusing to leaf through these sorts of things in the bookstore when you have a lazy afternoon, but spend your own hard-earned money on them? Very, very silly.

As to your question about a researcher who spends time on Zeus, why would he have to believe in his physical or substantial existence in order to study him? It's like an anthropologist who studies a primitive tribe's religion: he does so for academic reasons, not spiritual ones.

I happen to believe in Zeus, myself. He managed to get himself painted into the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, after all!!!

None of these authors are "spending their Whole life talking, researching, writing about" God. If you have read their books as you claim, you should have noticed their biography on the jacket.

Have you heard of proof by contradiction? You postulate the opposite of what you want to prove (e.g. the God of the Bible exists). Then you derive a logical contradiction or absurdity (e.g. Thou Shalt Not Kill + Destroy the Canaanites, Hittites, etc.). Then you conclude that the original assumption (Biblical God) cannot be true.

We, the new batch of Atheists who actively speak out against religion, fight the myth of God hoping to educate the world and prevent the destruction of our planet in a "my god is better than your god" pissing contest. All of the current wars being waged have religion at the root. Muslims hating Jews and Christians, Christians hating other types of Christian, and so many other God-based combinations it boggles the mind. It all needs to end and the best way to do that is education. The books you mention here are scholarly works and if looked at with uneducated eyes would appear "dumb" as you say. This clearly indicates that logic and rationality escape you. The goal is to one day have enough followers of logic and reason to overrule twits like you when your religious belief threatens our lives and liberty.

Inside of every person, there IS an awareness.
Some people go to great lengths to justify their behavior...they do not want to believe they will be held accountable for their actions...even everyday life points to this truth. Belief does not make something real or not.
Or true or not.
Neither can unbelief make something untrue or not real.
Truth is truth, and real is real.
Jesus Christ has come, and will come again.
Some choose to deny it, and they speak loudly and long...I think to convince themselves, or, without being aware of it, they are used by Satan to get others to turn away from the One True Living God.
