My boyfriend broke up with me a couple of weeks ago. But lately, he's been acting like he wants me back. I even caught him talking to his friends about how pretty i am, and he always comments my pictures on myspace as "you're so pretty, you're so sexy, etc." But the most confusing part, is that he claims to like another girl.

I would act like you don't care, pretend you have no feeling for him. Just act like you are friends, show him no extra interest or attention. He wants his cake and to eat it too, if you know what I mean. Guys like the chase. Don't show him you care or are even flattered by his comments.

It seems like he wants to keep you around but be able to explore his options at the same time. If not, he wouldn't have broken up with you. He wants to see what else is out there and if he can't find it, he knows that he has you to fall back on.

Don't even reply to his text or any messages. He is stringing you along to keep you there for when his other relationship falls to pieces. Leave and find happiness elsewhere! I have been through this, it's only hell to let him keep stringing you along.

i guess he's just playing with you. making you believe on something you wanted to believe,but the fact is, he likes the idea that you still want him. don't mind him anymore. make him drool but never give back, since he likes another girl

Sounds to me like your ex is playing the numbers game and is trying to take as much as he can get. Did he and his mutual female friend date previously? "Sorta misses him" could mean "Sorta miss being with him." If so, he might be rebounding or looking to "hit it and quit it" with you before moving on to the female friend. Either way, I would say not to date him again.

find someone else dear he is using you as a back up plan in case that someone else does not work out . tell him to take a hike and find someone else . good luck .

Maybe he's sorry that he treated you badly. Basically ignore him until it's clearer what he wants or if you want him back.
