I have been sick with diahrea for a week and a half and have no energy. My stomach is growling but I have no appetite at all but I know I need to eat something. I had white rice yesterday and a waffle today. It's really hot outside so I don't want soup or anything like that. I have been focusing on keeping myself hydrated but I can feel myself getting really weak so I need to eat even though nothing appeals to me.

I'm going to the doctor tommorrow to get checked out. I love food an am usually a pig so not wanting anything is really not like me.

Help anyone?

Yeah, that sucks when that happens and you're a "foodie" normally. I usually make myself some plain, unbuttered pasta, or some Cream of Wheat without any milk- just really bland stuff that is filling. I also think mashed potatoes without gravy are good for settling your stomach and keeping things in. If that doesn't work, you should head to the doctor now and they might need to give you an IV with nutrients in it.

Contrary to belief, hot soup on a hot day will level you out. It won't make you hotter and in fact could make you cooler. But maybe if you have some fruit, crackers and the rice is a good idea......when you have no appetite nothing is gonna be good to you. Maybe some cold tomato juice?

Sherbet if you think you can handle the bit of milk in it. I like a couple of peanut butter crackers. How about some iced ginger tea instead of hot?
