do you want her to fight ? then dont get a female get a male and have it fixed . I would suggest another beagle or basset they should get along well . good luck and have a great time with your dogs.

It's actually best to have a spayed female/neutered male combination - they get along best. So a male may be better. Just about any dog-friendly dog will work - I'm sure you can find a great dog at your local shelter - go to www.petfinder.com and see who's available for adoption.

From your previous post, get Angelina's housebreaking issues worked out before you bring home another dog or you may end up with two dogs with problems. New dogs tend to think its ok to go where the old dog goes.

I say get a MALE Basset Hound.
If you get a male you won't have to worry about much dominance problems.

Having a dog similar to her would be nice. Thats why I suggest a Basset Hound.

Bassets are great with anyone! Kids, adults, other dogs, and even CATS!

They're very loveable too!

Bassets are pack dogs so they love to be around other dogs. So, I think having a Basset around would be great.

I own three and they're all brilliant dogs!

I suggest getting a male instead, so there is less dominace and territory war, but the best bet would probley be to find a calm submissive dog, BE SURE TO KEEP THE PACK ORDER HOW YOU WANT IT! Dont let the more agressive dog be at the ahead of the submissive one or many fights may break out

Sounds like she's an Alpha dog. That's usually why other females won't like her. She won't play nice with another female.. so be prepared for Vet bills.

a border collie. they're highly intelligent so you could train it and they're generally mild tempered dogs.
